Welcome to the Biological Anthropology and Biodemography Laboratory E1G.Predict Program.

This program adjusts urinary E1G concentrations for non-parallelism exhibited by the 3F11 E1G enzyme immunoassay.

The E1G.Predict program requires
1) the urine μL/well in log units at which the specimen was assayed
2) dilution adjusted E1G concentration in log units (Please note: assay results in mass units [i.e. pg/mL] may be substituted where results in nmol/L are specified.)
3) the standard urine μL/well in log units to which the concentration is to be adjusted to correct for non-parallelism. The standard urine μL/well should correspond to the most commonly used dilution for the study (i.e. 8μL/well if most specimens are assayed at a 1:5 dilution).
The program output gives the E1G concentration adjusted for dilution and corrected for non-parallelism, the standard deviation of the adjusted value, and 90% CI, all reported in log units.
