This is a 2 credit course/seminar that will introduce multiple disciplinary perspectives on health disparities. Local and
nationally known scholars in the field will serve as discussants in the seminar. We are looking to enroll graduate students
(advanced masters and PhD level) from multiple disciplines across campus in the course. We also welcome drop-ins, faculty
and outsiders, but we're going to ask that drop-ins familiarize themselves with the readings beforehand as we're hoping for
lots of discussion each week.
The course, a collaboration with the School of Social Work, Department of Psychology, Department of Health Services, and WA
State Department of Health, is offered biweekly during the Winter and Spring Quarters in the School of Social Work, room 306.
Meets Wednesdays, 3:30-5:20 pm, on 1/9, 1/23, 2/6, 2/20, 3/5, 4/9, 4/23, 5/7, 5/21, 6/4.
