Richard Catalano receives the American Society of Criminology's Vollmer Award

Richard Catalano, Professor of Social Work, Director of the Social Development Research Group, and CSDE Affiliate, has been honored with the 2007 August Vollmer Award from the American Society of Criminology. The award recognizes a criminologist whose research scholarship has contributed to justice or to the treatment or prevention of criminal or delinquent behavior, either through a single outstanding work, a series of theoretical or research contributions, or on the accumulated contributions by a senior scholar.
