Research Summary:

Erin’s research focuses on the primary prevention of violence against women, with a focus on ecological and community-based approaches to enhancing violence prevention. Her current projects examine multi-level risk factors for domestic and sexual violence perpetration among men, as well as promotive factors that enhance the likelihood of respectful and non-abusive engagement in intimate partnerships. Erin is also pursuing projects examining the potential preventative impact of violence prevention initiatives that engage men and boys in the roles of anti-violence allies and activists.
