Research Summary:

Brian Flaherty conducts both methodological and substantive research in the health and social sciences. With respect to statistical and methodological research, Flaherty's current work focuses on modeling change over time and measurement. Specifically, much of his work has involved using the latent class model to address questions in both areas. With respect to substantive research, much of his work involves examining substance use onset and dependence.
