How to Acknowledge Support from CSDE's NICHD Center Grant (R24) and Training Grant (T32)

Please acknowledge CSDE support on publications, conference papers, and posters that used core services in anyway. The text of that acknowledgment should be:

Partial support for this research came from a Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development research infrastructure grant, 5R24HD042828, to the Center for Studies in Demography & Ecology at the University of Washington

Please acknowledge CSDE support on publications, conference papers, and posters that were supported in anyway by the training program, including work with a CSDE trainee. The text of that acknowledgment should be:

Partial support for this research came from a Shanahan Endowment Fellowship and a Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development training grant, 5T32HD007543, to the Center for Studies in Demography & Ecology at the University of Washington

Also, please include the pertinent (or both if appropriate) CSDE grant number when you deposit manuscripts in PubMed Central for your NIH grant. You can easily list multiple grants when you deposit manuscripts in the NIH manuscript submission system. Indeed, it is requested that you list all NIH funding that supported the manuscript. Here's how:

  1. After you enter your grant information, check the Select box
  2. Enter either the CSDE R24 or T32 grant number in the Grants/Projects search box
  3. When prompted for the the PI, Mark Ellis is the R24 PI; Charles Hirschman is the T32 PI
Should you need further instructions, here's a link to a very short tutorial on adding grants in the NIH manuscript submission system.

Please contact David Hyllegard if you have any questions or require assistance.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
