CSDE Library (Raitt 114)

The CSDE Library houses our print collection of demography resource materials and has space for study, computer research, working groups and class meetings.

Our catalog is hosted by Library World, and you may browse the collection here. Contact the CSDE Librarian if you would like to place a hold or recall a book.

Check Out a Book
We use a simple online self-check out system. Return books to CSDE Information Core (Raitt 218D) or the library mailbox in CSDE Administration (Raitt 206). To ensure that books get checked back in again properly, please do not return books directly to Raitt 114.

Access to the Library
Because the Library is often used for working groups, meetings, and the like, the librarian's workstation is not located in Raitt 114. Consequently, the Library does not have regularly scheduled hours of operation. To obtain access to the library or to reserve a meeting space please contact:

Create Course Reserves
The Library has set aside a small space for course reserves by faculty affiliates. You may use personal materials, photocopies, or Library resources as they apply to your course needs. Contact the Information Core to discuss reserve items, duration of reserves, restrictions, possible circulation periods or any other issues regarding your reserves.
