InformationServices Available to Faculty AffiliatesArticle DeliveryIn order to expedite service, the CSDE Information Core now fulfills many article requests electronically. If available, Information Core staff will send you the URL to an electronic version or send the article as a PDF. Otherwise, we will make a photocopy of the article and deliver it through campus mail. If you don't have time to come in to theLibrary, but need an item from our shelves, it can be delivered to you at your office by hand (staff permitting) or via campus mail. Let us know the items you would like to check out, and based on availability, these items will arrive at your office as soon as we can process them. Bibliographic SearchingWriting a grant proposal and unsure if you have found all relevant research? Not sure how to locate a particular item? The CSDE Information Specialist can help with free database searching and consultation in support of faculty research and teaching. Simply contact the Information Specialist who will briefly interview you regarding your topic, parameters of the search, and time frame. The search will be conducted promptly, and the results will be delivered in the format of your choice. Course ReservesTheLibrary has set aside a small space for course reserves by faculty affiliates. You may use personal materials, photocopies, orLibrary resources as they apply to your course needs. Contact the Information Core to discuss reserve items, duration of reserves, restrictions, possible circulation periods or any other issues regarding your reserves. |
