Anita Rocha is a certified SAS programmer and has a Masters degree in Statistics from UC Davis. Anita is a Southern California native and knows how fortunate she is to live in the regional home of the Duwamish, Suquamish, and other Salish peoples.  Anita plays an active role in her community as a co-counselor and environmental activist.

She enjoys computer programming so much that had she not studied statistics, she would likely have landed a career as a software developer.  She delights in creating super-efficient and elegant macros as a programmer, and she thrives on making meaning from the quantitative chaos as a statistician.  Anita gets to scratch both itches as a statistical programmer.  Her strengths: software packages SAS, SUDAAN, STATA plus statistical consulting, data management, presentations, and developing solutions to all kinds of odd little data issues.  Her weaknesses: all things chocolate and really good movies.
