CSDE invites students to submit a project abstract for this winter's CSDE Biannual Trainees Lightning Talks and Poster Session. Selected trainees will introduce their project via Zoom with a very brief presentation and continue the conversation with virtual "posters" in breakout rooms.

Proposals are due FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23RD.

This is a great opportunity to showcase your research to an excitingly diverse set of colleagues from across the university, make new connections with scholars working in similar areas, and celebrate your continued development as a strong demographic researcher.

CSDE will recognize the best poster with an award and prize. Posters will be assessed based on design, content, and presentation.

IMPORTANT DATES:
* If selected, submit final presentation slides (3 slides: the first 2 slides will be a high-level summary for the lightning talk portion and the 3rd slide will be the “poster” that you’ll present as people circulate through breakout rooms) to Maxine Wright (mkw1208@uw.edu) by FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20th

* The Lightning Talks and Poster Session will be held Friday December 11th from 12:30-1:30, Zoom link TBA.
