Pittman Elected Chair of the American Sociological Association Section on Race, Gender, and Class

CSDE Affiliate LaShawnda Pittman was elected chair-elect of the American Sociology Association’s Section on Race, Gender and Class. This is a great honor and important scientific recognition of Dr. Pittman’s work. This recognition and leadership role come at a critical time for sociologists and society. Congratulations, LaShawnda!
