Indigenizing Conservation in a Changing Climate Symposium (3/12/2020)

  • Students have participated in a project to Indigenize Restoration at Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center—focusing on decolonizing the way gardens and restoration are perceived  through western science.  They will be applying what they learned from class and their service learning into an art project. Join us as we discuss: Why is it important to incorporate Indigenous voices, perspectives, and Peoples into Conservation? Coffee and refreshments will be provided.
