Bonnie Alderfer’s research interests included: stratification, family and gender, and immigration, with a particular emphasis on child welfare. She is interested in the ways children are stratified, measures of subjective well-being, and a mixed-methods approach. Prior to coming the University of Washington, Bonnie spent a year in France teaching English to primary students, and a year working with children with autism and other developmental delays.
After leaving UW, she began her own business providing behavioral, social and/or sensory support to families living in the Pacific Northwest.
