William Zumeta, CSDE Affiliate and Professor of Public Policy at UW, recently spoke with chronicle.com about an education study he co-authored. The report, which aimed to evaluate how costs between private and public universities impact graduation rates, found that states may be able to grant more degrees by adding small incentives to private institutions. James Gregory, CSDE Affiliate and UW Professor of History, was recently interviewed by Seattle’s KUOW Radio about public responses to the 2016 election. The level of political activism ushered in by Donald Trump’s election hasn’t been seen in around 157 years, Gregory says.
