His estimates of racial disparities in incarceration were featured in the National Research Council’s landmark report on "The Growth of Incarceration in the United States" and in the first-ever report on racial inequality in exposure to incarceration in "The State of the Union: The Poverty and Inequality Report", published by the Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality at Stanford University.
