Acknowledgement of CSDE Services

Please acknowledge CSDE support on any of your publications, conference papers, and posters that used CSDE administrative, scientific, or computing services in any way. The text of that acknowledgment should read as follows:

“Partial support for this research came from a Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development research infrastructure grant, R24 HD042828, to the Center for Studies in Demography & Ecology at the University of Washington.”

Acknowledgement of CSDE  Training Program

Please acknowledge CSDE support on any of your publications, conference papers, and posters that were aided by the Training Program, including work with a CSDE trainee. The text of that acknowledgment should read as follows:

“Partial support for this research came from a Shanahan Endowment Fellowship and a Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development training grant, T32 HD007543, to the Center for Studies in Demography & Ecology at the University of Washington.”

Public Access Requirement (Linking your Pubs to PMCID)

Also, please make sure to deposit your manuscript in PubMed Central if your journal publisher does not do this automatically. This is a public access requirement for all peer-reviewed journal articles that have made direct use of NIH funds (in CSDE’s case, this applies with use of our core services). When you do so, please link your paper to the pertinent CSDE grant number(s) (see above) and any other relevant NIH grant. You can easily list multiple grants when you deposit manuscripts in the NIH manuscript submission system.

More information on Linking Your Pubs to PMCID

If you are using the UW High Performance Computing Cluster Hyak or MOX, please also cite their cluster in this way:

“This work was facilitated though the use of advanced computational, storage, and networking infrastructure provided by the Hyak supercomputer system at the University of Washington”

Please contact CSDE if you have any questions or require assistance.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
