Research Analyst – Center on Poverty and Social Policy at Columbia University

The Center on Poverty and Social Policy at the Columbia University School of Social Work focuses on poverty and social policy issues in the United States. The center is seeking a Research Analyst to provide research and analytical support to the Center on Poverty and Social Policy and the Columbia Population Research Center.

As the Poverty Tracker and Early Childhood Poverty Tracker studies have grown, there is an increased need to work with and analyze the data that has come in through the study. The Research Analyst will be responsible for producing reports and analyses using data from the Poverty Tracker and Early Childhood Poverty Tracker in order to meet the study’s goals. The Poverty Tracker, a joint project of Robin Hood and Columbia University, is a longitudinal study of the dynamics of poverty and disadvantage in New York City.
