Magarati and Colleagues Receive NIH/NIDA Grant from the Native Collective Research Effort to Enhance Wellness (N CREW) Initiative

CSDE Affiliate Maya Magarati, along with Myra Parker and the UW Seven Directions Center for Indigenous Public Health team, were recently awarded a $3 million grant through the NIH N CREW Initiative for Growing a Tribal Healing Effort through Research (GATHER). With this new grant, the UW Seven Directions team will serve as one of four core technical assistance and training hubs supporting the documentation and monitoring of tribal research grants focused on substance use, mental health, and pain management.
