*New* Limited Submission: NIH Funding for Collaborative Research Facilities (12/02/26)

The NIH’s Development of Collaborative Research Facilities or Research-Resource Facilities program (PAR-26-106) supports the construction or modernization of shared-use research facilities that benefit broad research communities, through two tracks: the Biomedical Research Facilities (BRF) program, funding $2–8 million for facilities advancing basic, translational, clinical, or behavioral science research, and the HIV/AIDS Research Facilities (HRF) program, funding $2–4 million for facilities aligned with NIH Office of AIDS Research priorities. Because UW may submit only one application to this opportunity, interested researchers must submit a pre-proposal — a one-page letter of intent, a broader impacts summary (if applicable), and a CV—to limitedsubs@uw.edu by 5:00 PM on Monday, December 2, 2026. Applications selected by the Limited Submissions review committee will be due to the Office of Sponsored Programs by January 13, 2027, ahead of the sponsor deadline of January 25, 2027.
