Natasha Rivers is a demographic planner and a civic engagement and advocacy leader. She provides data required for facilities and capital levy planning and long-term facilities use, staffing adjustments and capacity management. She conducts scientific research and evaluation to measure the impact of Seattle’s affordability crisis, including the rise of K-12 homeless youth, and works to identify solutions to the “opportunity gap”. Rivers was the first to serve as demographer for Seattle School District and use measurement, evaluation, and demographic research to facilitate district enrollment planning. Her current position is at BECU
