Breaking the Silence is a speaker series on domestic violence and sexual assault hosted by the UW Women’s Center and the Seattle Human Services Department (HSD). This first event will have have four panelists and one moderator addressing the issue of gender-based violence in immigrant and refugee communities.

• Farhiya Mohamed, Domestic Violence Advocate – Somali Family Safety Task Force
• Norma Guzman, Domestic Violence Program Manager – Consejo Counseling Services
