Doll Publishes New Book on the Hidden Crisis of the Black Womb and Featured in New York Times Article

CSDE Affiliate Dr. Kemi Doll (Obstetrics & Gynecology) recently published a new book titled, “A Terrible Strength: The Hidden Crisis of the Black Womb & Your Survival Guide to Healing.” In this book, Dr. Doll discusses the silence in medicine that has cost Black women their health, their dignity, and their lives. She brings together her own personal stories, her groundbreaking research, cultural insights, and reflections and strategies in order to break the silence and expose the hidden crisis of the Black womb. Dr. Doll and her book were also featured in a New York Times article titled, “Ladies, We’re Entering Our Crone Era.
