Housing Development Internship

HDC is the nonprofit membership association dedicated to fulfilling our vision that all people live with dignity in safe, healthy, and affordable homes within communities of opportunity.  The Housing Development Internship Program (HDIP)seeks to brings students of color into the affordable housing sector so that we can create the next generation of affordable housing leaders that reflect our communities.Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) in their last year of  undergraduate
or last year of graduate school, who are studying Urban Planning, Development or related subject matter and interested in affordable housing, should apply. We strongly encourage bilingual/ bicultural students to apply for this program.
This is a paid internship at $15-$20/hour for 15-20 hours a week for 9 months. Students will intern at one of our host agencies. HDC acts as the Program Administrator, providing support to the intern and host agency, and acting as bridge builder while centering the needs of BIPOC interns.The deadline to apply for this program is July 24.
