The Department of Sociology at UCLA invites applications for part-time lecturers to teach during the 2018-19 academic year. Part-time positions may be available for the following courses:
Fall
SOC-1: Introductory Sociology
SOC-111: Social Networks
SOC-156: Race & Ethnicity in American Life
SOC-191V: Data Science
Winter
SOC-111: Social Networks
Spring
SOC-145: Sociology of Deviant Behavior
SOC-147A: Sociology of Crime
SOC-M174: Sociology of the Family
Other courses might become available as needed.
Submitted applications will be kept on file. A PhD in sociology or another social science, excellent teaching, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
