Join the UW Office of Research on Tuesday, November 17 for the inaugural UW Shared Research Facilities & Resources Fair, an opportunity to discover the people, services, technology, and expertise that support research at the UW!
Faculty, researchers, trainees, facility staff, and campus partners are invited to explore shared research facilities, learn about available research support services, connect with potential collaborators, and discover new funding opportunities that help researchers access specialized facilities and services. All researcher attendees will be entered into a drawing to win one of five SRF Vouchers to be raffled off at the fair. SRF Vouchers will be provided through the Office of Research and are redeemable for facility use equal to the value of the voucher. Must be present to win! You can register at this link.
Event highlights will include:
- Introduction and lightning talks: Hear from UW leaders and SRFs during a series of lightning round talks highlighting resources, services, and new opportunities available to the research community.
- Resource showcase: Meet representatives from SRFs, the Office of Corporate & Foundation Relations, Research Computing, and campus support organizations during an extended networking session.
- Funding Opportunities: Discover how the UW Office of Research is expanding support for shared research infrastructure through new programs and initiatives.
