On April 16, you’re invited to join an information webinar about how to access the outstanding data available through the Northwest Federal Statistical Research Data Center (NWFSRDC). • On Wednesday, April 16, 2025 (12:30 PM – 1:30 PM), Dr. Sofia G. Ayala (Executive Director of the NWFSRDC) and Dr. Carlos Becerra (Administrator of the NWFSRDC and Census Bureau Survey Statistician) will host an informational webinar introducing the NWFSRDC. The webinar will highlight various types of microdata available through our Center and explain the process for requesting access to these data. It will also describe what it is like to carry out research within our secure physical or virtual environment. Register here to attend.

 

• On Thursday, April 24, 2025 (12:30pm-1:30pm), CSDE Research Affiliate Giovanni Righi will join us for a talk about the Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) data. An experienced researcher of LEHD data, Righi will introduce attendees to the structure and complexity of these data and explore their wide-ranging research potential, including applications in labor market dynamics, workforce mobility, spatial inequality, and neighborhood-level economic analysis.
