Join a French project to undertake a Ph.D. thesis on the political participation of French-Asian migrants and their descendants at the Émile Durkheim Centre in Sciences Po Bordeaux, under the supervision of Prof Vincent Tiberj. The PolAsie project plans to investigate the specificity of French Asians’ political participation through different domains (voting practices, participation in political campaigns, trajectories of Asian elected representatives, political mobilizations and collective action at the local level, etc). It also aims at analyzing these political practices by evaluating the processes of political socialization before migration, after migration, and within the diasporic groups.
