Upcoming NICHD Listening Sessions on Diversifying the Scientific Workforce

The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), part of the National Institutes of Health, launched the STrategies to EnRich Inclusion and AchieVe Equity (STRIVE) to address equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility. The Scientific Workforce Diversity (SWD) Committee within STRIVE aims to foster Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) within NICHD extramural workforce and training programs.
All NICHD staff, trainees, and external partners are welcome to these upcoming listening sessions to engage in the discussion:
- Listening Session 1 – Trainees (Undergraduates, Graduate Students, Postdocs) and Early-Stage Investigators Tuesday, March 22, 2022, 10am–12pm PT
- Listening Session 2 – Established Research Investigators and Program Directors, Academic and Research Program Leaders, Professional and Scientific Organizations Thursday, March 24, 2022, 10am–12pm PT
