CSDE Linux resources page
In order to access CSDE’s Linux resources, you must first apply for a CSDE Account.
You can request a Linux account when applying for a CSDE Computing account here.

Computing Accounts
Connecting to the Linux/Unix systems:
- Make sure you are logged into Husky On Net
- Open your terminal (Mac or Linux) or PowerShell (Windows) and type ssh {YourUWNetID}@ [system name] to connect. Where {YourUWNetID} is your NetID and [system name] is one of the systems below.
- For example:
ssh ExampleNetID@libra.csde.uw.edu
to connect securely to one of our Linux systems.
A full list of Linux systems you can connect to:
- libra.csde.washington.edu
- nori.csde.washington.edu
- union.csde.washington.edu
The three servers are also reachable via ssh or HTTPS for Posit Workbench Professional.
