Swanson Publishes in the Algerian Journal of Medical and Health Research

CSDE External Affiliate David Swanson (UC Riverside) recently published, “On the Future Mortality of Algeria” in the Algerian Journal of Medical and Health Research. In this article, Dr. Swanson introduces a new mortality forecasting approach that, unlike the Lee-Carter Method, is directly linked to the fundamental demographic equation. The method, the results of the ex post facto evaluation, and the forecast are all discussed along with suggested next steps in evaluating this approach. Visit this link to read the full article.
