Finchum-Mason, Gugerty, and Barnhart Publish Research on the Effect of the Pandemic on Nonprofits in Washington

CSDE Trainee Emily Finchum-Mason, Affiliate Mary Kay Gugerty, and their colleague Erica Barnhart recently published a report exploring how nonprofits in Washington State have responded to the twin public health crises of systemic racism and the COVID-19 pandemic. This report (available in full HERE) is part of a series driven by ongoing research driven by interviews with nonprofit leaders collected by the authors and picks up where the first report left off, exploring how nonprofits have faced the challenges of these public health and social crises.
