With co-authors Mahesh Somashekhar and James Buszkiewicz, CSDE Affiliates Scott Allard and Jennifer Romich have a new article recently accepted and available in pre-print in Economic Development Quarterly. The paper explores the responses of business owners from marginalized communities to the introduction of a $15 minimum wage in Seattle.

This week CSDE will host Affiliate and Assistant Professor in the UW School of Social Work Meghan Romanelli. Dr. Romanelli will utilize ideation-to-action theories of suicide to frame two interrelated studies of adolescent suicide based on population-based data from the CDC National Youth Risk Behavior Survey.
