Introduction to SAS
This workshop is given in two, 2-hour sessions, totaling 4 hours.
Note: This is not a statistics class. You will need to have taken a statistics class or have equivalent experience to benefit from learning to use this software.

Introuction to SAS
Duration: Two 2 hour hands on sessionsTop
This workshop assumes no previous experience with SAS
Prerequisites: Familiarity with MS Windows environment and knowledge of fundamental statistical concepts.
Topics include
- Navigating OUTPUT in the RESULTS window
- Libraries and the EXPLORER window
- SAS default features
- Importing and exporting datasets
- Creating and saving datasets
- Viewing values and contents of data
- Basic DATA STEP processing
- Debugging via the LOG
- Operations and functions
- Formats, creating and assigning
- Descriptive statistics procedures like PROC UNIVARIATE and PROC FREQ
- Introduction to regression procedures like PROC REG and PROC LOGISTIC
