Karen Fredriksen-Goldsen, CSDE Affiliate and UW Professor of Social Work, was interviewed by local news outlet KING5 about her recent research on the health and well-being of elderly LGBTQ populations. The first-of-its-kind study examined health changes over time as LGBTQ Americans aged, and the analysis unearthed some significant disparities from national averages.
