Assistant Professor of Economics

The Department of Economics at the University of Virginia seeks applications to fill an important non-tenure-track teaching position, with responsibilities for teaching five to six courses in some of the following areas: introductory and intermediate courses in micro and macro; and introductory econometrics. This full- or part-time salaried position, at the rank of Assistant Professor, General Faculty or other non-track title appropriate to experience, starts in the fall term of 2018 for a term of no more than three years and is renewable based on performance and continued availability of funding. We seek candidates dedicated to our mission and passionate about teaching in a world class institution. Applicants must have a PhD in Economics or a related field at the time of application.
