Interview with and New Publication from Trainee Alumna Sarah Charnes

CSDE Trainee Alumna Sarah Charnes, a recent Public Policy Ph.D. graduate, was interviewed recently by the Evans School to discuss her research on food assistance and food insecurity. The interview, available HERE, spans her research, misconceptions around food insecurity in the U.S., and advice about translating research for policymakers. Charnes also has a recent publication, available in pre-print HERE, that explores the relationship between household disability status, food store choice, and food insecurity.
