Current Research: I have been researching the integration of evidenced-based programming into clinical practice. In particular, I am interested in how to build clinical-community linkages. I am interested in how one designs and measures a multi-sector and multi-component intervention that has a greater impact on health outcomes. How do we design, implement, evaluate, scale, and spread these effective interventions? Current work: I have been involved in the development and spread of community health worker interventions for chronic disease. I am interested in how to reach and impact low-income, underserved communities with culturally competent approaches. Future research interest: I am interested in the adaptation of public health and health care services to climate change events impacted health outcomes.
