Chan Publishes His First Book in Chinese

CSDE Affiliate Kam Wing Chan has published his first book in Chinese by Peking University Press in China. The book, titled 大国城民: 城镇化及户籍改革 (Becoming Urban Citizens: Urbanization and China’s Hukou Reform) is a project that has taken him several years to complete. The book weaves together his decades of research on China up to 2022 and is written in a more accessible language for a larger audience in China. A description of his book is here.
