Hall and Colleagues Turn an Equity Lens on Behavioral Science for Conservation in New Publication

With co-authors Katherine Crosman, Ines Jurcevic, Carlin Van Holmes, and Edward Allison, CSDE Affiliate Crystal Hall recently published a perspective article in Conservation Letters. The authors examine the use of behavioral approaches in conservation efforts, emphasizing potential misapplications that may result from omitting equity and power considerations. Additionally, the article offers recommendations for centering equity when applying behavioral insights to conservation, including strategies for high-level agenda setters as well as conservation practitioners.
