Student Group Meeting with Speakers after the Seminar

All students enrolled in the Population Studies Seminar (CSDE 501) and all CSDE trainees are encouraged to participate in a group lunch meeting with external seminar speakers immediately following the seminar. Students engage inĀ  group discussions with leading population scientists on research and professional issues. This venue is an important resource for students interested in broadening their professional and scholarly knowledge in population sciences and receiving individualized advice. A CSDE Fellow, or another Trainee with expertise in the research of the speaker, will moderate the group discussions. All participants are encouragedĀ  to come prepared with questions for the speaker. They may ask for professional advice or feedback on their own research. If you would like to participate in the lunch, please RSVP to the student moderating the post seminar meeting or the CSDE Program Coordinator by the Thursday morning before the seminar. The lunch will be held in Raitt 114 between 1:30-2:20 PM.
